Control and monitoring systems in low voltage switchgears more and more often use industrial communication networks. This gives great possibilities of controlling and monitoring significantly reducing costs of wiring the whole system. The most popular industrial networks used in switchgears are:

  • Profibus DP network
  • Industrial Ethernet network
  • PROFinet network
  • Modbus RTU network

In our projects we most often use Profibus DP communication network. A Master central driver placed in switchgears, controls and gives full diagnostics of all supplied drives in switchgears. In our solutions we use great possibilities of this network by accomplishing full diagnostics of drives based on asynchronous exchange of DPV1 data. We specialize in developing non-standard communication networks, network diagnostics and integration of different solutions to a single general communication system. We design networks individually for every solution. We conduct projects of communication solutions in big industrial plants and we specialize in developing data exchange system between automation systems in switchgears with DCS systems. During our activity we have designed and activated:

  • automation systems using redundant possibilities Profibus DP and Modbus RTU networks
  • communication networks integrating over 80 drives in Profibus DP network and systems of localization shorting, individually for every drive
  • communication networks designed on RS232 standard with unique communication protocol for the registration of UPS working device
  • communication networks designed on RS485 standard, allocated for registration and archiving of data from the work of technological lines
  • GateWay systems between Profibus DP networks (low voltage switchgears) and Modbus PLUS network (DCS system)
  • individual solution of communication networks in connection of PLC drivers with PC computers
