Registration of load parameters is vital for the purposes of carried energetic balances and to determine load’s peak power. Temporary readings of load and network parameters do not give real view on the course of load in time. It forces the use of registering and saving systems of measured parameters to archival files. Such a system is consisted of registration systems as well as data archiving system. In ordered to carry registration of network parameters we use analysers connected with central PLC driver, with the use of PROFIBUS DP network. Then it is possible to read data such as:

• currents in specified phases,
• phase and interfacial voltage,
• active, passive and apparent powers in specified phases,
• frequency,
• THD values,
• and other specific parameters.

Another system is PC computer system connected with the driver by RS485 and equipped with specialized software. Meeting the needs of our customers on modern system of constant registration of framework parameters we have carried out in our company an eASTBus dedicated software working on PC computers. Archiving data are sent from registration system (PLC driver) via RS485 link. eASTBus software archives received data in database system (MySQL) with determined time stamp. Thanks to that we can:

• preview of historical data of network load,
• graphic presentation (charts) of registered parameters,
• determining of maximum and minimum,
• counting average or RTS values in specified time interval,
• energetic balance,
• printouts of freely configured statements,
• registration of limits overrun by the user.

Our experience in the field registration of network parameters is helpful in developing effective methods of measurements and achieving maximum benefits from data registration system.
